Goddesses

Goddesses are a series of preparatory drawings for a series of wax and then bronze sculptures. The emblematic Barbie doll is imagined in an altered state, using references to early religious figurines, Buddhism and pagan rituals. It is a combination of influences of my father who was an archaeologist and my mother a yoga teacher.
